Instructions for use
Follow guidelines provided by the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) to get the patient ready for rescue breathing.
Unfold the face shield and place the rectangular mouth prop in patient's mouth with the face shield over the face. support Jaw and pinch the patient's nose with thumb and finger through the face shield.
You will be facing the operator side of the field.
Place your mouth over the circular section of the mouth prop, but open sufficiently to seal patient's lips. Blow until patient's chest rises.
Watch chest fall; listen for air escaping from mouth and check exhalation around edges of face shield.
Continue rescue breathing as per ARC guidelines.
